Two receive ASCP National Student Honor Award
Emily Fruth, BS ’14, and William “Wes” Cruikshank, BS ’14, have been received the American Society for clinical Pathology (ASCP) National Student Honor Award.
Fruth, from Bucyrus, Ohio, received a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science while Cruikshank, from Elida, Ohio, earned a post-baccalaureate certificate in medical laboratory science.
The National Student Honor Award recognizes students in the laboratory profession who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to community service and leadership activities. This is the second consecutive year that two ONU students in the West Central Ohio Medical Laboratory Science (WCOMLS) program have received this honor.
