Scholarship rewards leadership
Kellie Evans, a fifth-year pharmacy student from Westlake, Ohio, has been selected as a 2013-2014 recipient of the ASHP Student Leadership Award, presented by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the ASHP Research and Education Foundation.
The award includes a plaque, $2,000 cash award provided by the ASHP Research and Education Foundation and a drug information library valued at over $1,000.
The award is based on interest in health-system pharmacy and demonstrated leadership, representing the very best attributes and accomplishments of ASHP student members. The selection process was rigorous and competitive. Evans is one of twelve recipients selected from a pool of highly qualified applicants from across the country.
