BGSU Afro-Caribbean Ensemble to perform at ONU

The Ohio Northern University Artist Series will present the Bowling Green State University Afro-Caribbean Ensemble in Snyder Recital Hall on Friday, Nov. 9, at 8 p.m.

Founded in 1992, the BGSU Afro-Caribbean Ensemble performs traditional songs, percussion music and dance from sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. Since 1994, members of the Ensemble have traveled to Ghana to study through workshops. Steven Cornelius directs the group.

The event is free and open to the public.
