A cappella group ‘Take 6,’ March 15 ONU’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents the award-winning a cappella group Take 6 on Saturday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. Take 6, the most awarded a cappella group in history, with 10 Grammy Awards, 10 Dove Awards, a Soul Train Award, two NAACP Image Award nominations and more, knows no musical bounds.
Liddick receives scholarship to national conference Anne Liddick, a junior in international theatre production from Greenville, Ind., is the 2013 United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) Ohio Valley National Conference scholarship winner. She is the first ONU student selected for this award. The award will help pay her way to the national conference in Fort Worth, Texas, March 26-30. She will write about her experiences at the conference to promote attendance by other theatre students.
The Moon in Taurus The ONU Observatory will be open from 8 to 10 p.m., Friday, March 7, for “The Moon in Taurus.” The observatory’s telescopes will be turned on the Moon and Jupiter plus the Orion Nebula and he Pleiades star cluster. Check the observatory's web page in case of inclement weather.
