The Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law's 15th annual Diversity Forum will discuss "The Importance of Diversity in the Legal and Political Fields" in the Celebrezze Moot Court Room 129 on Friday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. The ONU Black Law Student Association (BLSA), in partnership with the ONU Student Bar Association, ONU Office of Multicultural Affairs, the National BLSA, the Midwest BSLA and the ONU Student Senate, is sponsoring the event.
Shakespeare's 'Measure for Measure' The Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents William Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure" from Thursday, Feb. 20, to Saturday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m. In addition, there will be two matinee performances: Saturday, Feb. 22, and Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. A post-show discussion with the company will be held after the afternoon performance on Saturday, Feb. 22. "Measure for Measure" explores the issues of mercy, justice and truth and their relationship to pride and humility: "Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall."
ONU Symphony, Feb. 23 Ohio Northern University's Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents the Ohio Northern University Symphony on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 4:30 p.m. The ONU Symphony Orchestra will perform "Night on Bald Mountain" by Modest Mussorgsky followed by "Concerto for the Flute" by Carl Nelson featuring ONU senior Marissa Mauro. The concert will conclude with Borodin's "Symphony No. 2." Borodin is considered one of the great Russian composers, known as The Mighty Handful, along with Mussorgsky, Rimksy-Korsakov and others.
'Wind Music of Spain and New Spain' The Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents "Wind Music of Spain and New Spain," featuring the Ohio Northern University Wind Orchestra and the ONU Dance Company, on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m.
Orion and star formation ONU Observatory will be open for "Star Formation in Orion," on Friday, Feb. 21 from 8-10 p.m. Since Orion is centered above the southern horizon at 8 p.m. on this moonless evening, star formation will be the theme. There will be a short presentation and Q&A on this theme around 9 p.m. Jupiter and its moons will also be a target. Check the observatory web site for weather-related changes.

Annual BSU Fashion Show "Music Through the Ages" is the theme for this year's Annual Black Student Union Fashion Show, Feb. 21, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the McIntosh Activities Room.
Career fair, Feb. 26 The Winter Career and Graduate School Fair is coming Feb. 26 to the ONU Sports Center. More than 100 hiring organizations and graduate/professional schools are scheduled to attend to recruit for full/part-time and summer positions, internships/co-ops and admission to graduate/professional schools. This event is hosted by Polar Careers and provides ONU students and alumni with majors in Arts & Sciences, Business Administration, and Engineering the opportunity to network and interview with hiring organizations.
