Phi Mu Delta returns to campus
Phi Mu Delta fraternity is returning to campus after a hiatus which began in Spring 2011. Tom Murphy, executive director of Phi Mu Delta, and Derrick Dubois, director of chapter services, have begun the colonization process of the new chapter.
As part of the effort, a $500 Phi Mu Delta Book Scholarship has been established and will be awarded to 20 unaffiliated men with GPAs over 3.0. The presentations will be made at the opening of the spring semester. Phi Mu Delta is currently recruiting alumni and friends to help the colony’s advisory board shape, guide and mentor new leaders through the chartering process.
Phi Mu Delta was founded on March 1, 1918 at the Universities of Connecticut, New Hampshire and Vermont and focuses on the ideals of democracy, service and brotherhood.
