Pharmaceutical fraternity honored

Five members of ONU’s Gamma Delta chapter of Kappa Psi pharmaceutical fraternity took part in the 56th Grand Council Convention, held July 30-Aug. 4, 2013, in St. Petersburg, Fla.

During the event Madalyn McMinn, a fifth-year pharmacy student from Wellngton, Ohio, was awarded a Kappa Psi Foundation scholarship and the ONU chapter was honored as honor of seventh best collegiate chapter in the fraternity and best collegiate chapter in the Great Lakes Province.

Also participating in the convention were Allie Fay, a fourth-year student from Canton, Ohio; Adam Kornokovich, a third-year student from Brunswick, Ohio; Anne Durham, a senior biology major from Mason, Ohio; and Cameron Van Dyke, BSPH '96, Kappa Psi advisor.

Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest professional pharmacy fraternity in the world.
