Dennis Stripe, BSBA '79, is president of OrthoHelix Surgical Designs, a division of Tornier, N.V., a global medical device company.  OrthoHelix was acquired by Tornier in October 2012.  Prior to the acquisition, Stripe was named CEO of OrthoHelix in July 2008 and served on the Board of Directors.  He has more than 30 years of medical device experience, with 23 years in the orthopedic sector, in various senior management positions.  Stripe has been instrumental in building the OrthoHelix organization and growing its business through focus on balanced team building.  As an experienced executive in the orthopedic implant market, he has knowledge of most market segments.  Prior to joining OrthoHelix, Stripe held several positions at Stryker Corp. within their spine implant division, progressing from general manager of the U.S. business to vice president of global marketing.  Stripe earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Ohio Northern University, and he serves on the College of Business Administration's Advisory Board.
