ONU to hold second annual Ada Civic Engagement Day
To continue the positive partnership with Ohio Northern University and the village of Ada, ONU is conducting the second annual Ada Civic Engagement (ACE) Day on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon.
‘The Heart of a Teacher,’ Aug. 27
ONU’s Department of Education and the Center for Teacher Education will present “The Heart of a Teacher” in the forum of James F. Dicke Hall on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and a reception will follow in the atrium of Dicke Hall.
Eating Done Well
Dan Gedeon researched grilling ... for credit! Now, his hard work can keep you healthy this summer. Gedeon examined healthy-eating tips as part of his one-month rotation at Healthwise, ONU’s health and wellness program that provides educational opportunities, disease state and medication management, and one-on-one counseling with health care professionals to ONU faculty and staff members.
Opening Day Activities, Aug. 21
For faculty and staff, opening activities for the 2013-14 academic year begins Wednesday, Aug. 21, with President Daniel DiBiasio's opening session for the University community at 10 a.m. in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts, followed by a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. in the Field House.
ONU registering businesses, residents for ACE Day
Ohio Northern University is currently registering businesses and residents for its second annual Ada Civic Engagement (ACE) Day to be held on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Swim classes coming in September
