ONU Hosts first in series of cultural conversation discussions

The Ohio Northern University Office of Multicultural Development will host the first in a year-long series of Cultural Conversation Hours on Thursday, Sept. 20 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The conversation hour will be held at the ONU Multicultural Center located at 307 S. Union Street.

The event is free and open to the public. Food will be provided.

This month's discussion is "The Immigration Issue and Selective Discrimination: Who is really impacted?"

The monthly conversation series will take place every third Thursday of the month during the lunch hour. The conversation series is dedicated to examining the ideas and issues of multiculturalism and diversity in greater society. Critical discussion will be facilitated by Clyde W. Pickett, Multicultural Development director.
