ONU among best in Ohio bar passage rate
One hundred percent of Ohio Northern University’s December law graduates passed Ohio’s February 2013 bar examination on their first attempt, and 82 percent of all ONU law graduates passed. ONU’s Pettit College of Law ranks second among Ohio law schools in overall passage rate and first in the passage rate of first-time takers.
ONU National Tour Choir plans 38-day tour
Starting in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 13, the Ohio Northern National Tour Choir, made up of members of the ONU University Singers, will perform in 16 states over 38 days. The choir will make stops in Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada, Missouri and Indiana before completing the tour on June 19 with a home concert at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts in Ada.
ESP faculty develops specialized teaching materials

Paper to be published
Deidre Keller, assistant professor of law, is author of a paper, "'What He Said': The Transformative Potential of the Use of Copyrighted Content in Political Campaigns, or, How a Win for Mitt Romney Might Have Been a Victory for Free Speech" that has been accepted by the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law.
Art student wins award
Josephine M. Dunham, a studio arts major from Lima, Ohio, won the Martha Farmer Sculpture Award at the ArtSpace/Lima’s annual juried Spring Show. Her sculpture is titled “Aphrodite’s Ascension.” Mathematics majors give presentations at national meetings
At the recent Joint National Mathematics Meetings in San Diego, Calif., mathematics majors Tommy Steinberger, a senior from Ada, Ohio; Jonathan C. Schroeder, a senior in computer engineering from Ada, Ohio; and James Rader, a sophomore in mathematical statistics from Findlay, Ohio, presented posters as part of the undergraduate poster session sponsored by the Mathematical Association of America.
