Schul articles to be published
Jim Schul, Ph.D., assistant professor of education, has recently had the following two articles accepted for publication in peer-reviewed journals:
“Film Pedagogy in the History Classroom: Desktop Documentary Making Skills for History Teachers and Students” has been accepted by The Social Studies.
“Schism in the Schoolhouse: A Historical Reflection on the Strenuous Relationship between the Arts and Sciences and Educationists within the AHA Commission on the Social Studies (1929-1934)” has been accepted by Curriculum History.
Schul is also the author of “Emotional Evocation and Desktop Documentary Making: Secondary Students’ Motivations while Composing Historical Documentaries,” which will appear as a chapter in Russell, W. (Ed.) Digital Social Studies.
