Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mohti, assistant professor of civil engineering and advisor of concrete canoe and steel bridge teams has recently published three journal papers.
“Assessment of seismic performance of skew reinforced concrete box girder bridges,” appears in the International Journal of Advanced Structural Engineering 2013 5:1.
“Effect of skew angle on the seismic vulnerability of RC box-girder highway bridges,” appears in the International Journal of Stability and Structural Dynamics 2013 13:6.
“Investigation of the likelihood of cracking in reinforced concrete bridge decks,” will be published in a special edition of International Journal of Concrete Structures and Materials, March 2013.
Abdel-Mohti has also been selected to serve on the scientific committee of the 2013 International Conference on Computational Technologies in Concrete Structures (CTCS13), to be held Sept. 8-12 in Jeju, Korea.
