Professors participate in ACS leadership development

Drs. Bradley Wile, Ph.D., and Amelia Anderson-Wile, Ph.D., assistant professors of chemistry, were recognized by the Younger Chemist’s Committee of the American Chemical Society (ACS) with a Leadership Development award. The award is made was made on the basis of scientific merit to 15 people nationwide, and was competitive in nature. The award covered the cost of travel, accommodation and registration at the three-day ACS Leadership Institute in Dallas, Texas, from Jan. 25-27, 2013. This workshop involved sessions designed to build skills and facilitate networking with other young chemists and members of the ACS executive.
