ONU featured in Princeton Review's "The Best 366 Colleges"

Sep 18, 2007
Ohio Northern University is once again featured as one of the nation's top schools in the new Princeton Review annual college guide, "The Best 366 Colleges, 2008 Edition."

The rankings in the 2008 edition are based on The Princeton Review's survey of 120,000 students at 366 colleges in the book. The lists report the top ranked colleges in more than 60 categories covering topics from academics and financial aid to aspects of college life.

The book lists ONU as "one of the 161 colleges named Best Midwestern College."

ONU students were interviewed about the quality of the university's academics and campus life. One undergrad said, " I have been on trips with my professors and been given the option to present my research findings at a major conference. A bigger school would not have allowed me to accomplish so much. ONU's small-school setting ‘provides a challenging but nurturing environment' with ‘professors who are very student oriented and educated in their fields.' This place is perfect for fostering growth and development in each student."

Another student noted that while Ada is not very big, "the school does its very best to lay out an array of cool activities that keep students happy."
