Swim for Cystic Fibrosis

ONU swimming and diving team will host its eighth annual “Swim for Cystic Fibrosis” event Saturday, Jan. 19 at the ONU Natatorium. On money raised at the event will go to the CF Foundation. Come support the Polar Bears as they take on OAC foe Baldwin Wallace and bring awareness to cystic fibrosis.

• Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States.
• Cystic fibrosis is a rare-disease without a cure.
• The CF Foundation has been recognized by publications such as Smart Money as one of the most efficient organizations of its kind.  Nearly 90 percent of every dollar of revenue raised is available for investment in vital CF programs to support research, care and education.
• The CF Foundation receives no federal funding and depends on the generosity of individual donors and corporations to support our lifesaving mission.
