Agozzino presents conference short course

Alisa Agozzino, Ph.D., assistant professor of communication arts, presented a “Short Course on Modern Teaching Using Social Media” at the National Communications Association conference, Nov. 15 in Orlando, Fla.

She said, “This short course explored the multiple dimensions of social media tools and the various ways we integrate these tools into both our teaching and research. In this engaging discussion, demonstrations to show how to use technology to connect with students and peers through social media assignments and online presentations were conducted. The presentation highlighted using social media tools, beyond the basics, to connect with fellow researchers to network both face-to-face and virtually.”
