Boyadzhiev publishes article in 'Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen'

Dr. Khristo Boyadzhiev, ONU professor of mathematics, has co-authored the article, “Series with Hermite polynomials and applications” in the mathematics journal Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen. His co-author is Dr. Ayhan Dil, Akdeniz University, Antalya, Turkey. The paper presents a collection of transformation formulas involving the classical Hermite polynomials. The Hermite polynomials are polynomials named in honor of the nineteenth century French mathematician Charles Hermite, who used them in his researches in analysis. Boyadzhiev and Dil apply the formulas they obtain to harmonic numbers, Lucas sequences, and exponential and geometric numbers.
