Teacher Candidate Info and Registration
Education Expo is a job fair sponsored by the Career Services offices from seven private universities/colleges in Ohio to provide their students/alumni (teacher candidates) an opportunity to meet with recruiter representatives from school districts from around the country during the Open Fair (8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., April 9, 2014) for the purpose of providing a resume and to be selected by recruiters to schedule same-day interviews for employment.
This event will be held in the Field House at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. Candidates should check with their Career Services office to see if transportation is being provided or if there will be carpooling.
Eligibility for Candidate Participation:
To participate in Education Expo, teacher candidates must:
- be an alumni or a current student who will have graduated with a teacher licensure from one of the sponsoring universities/colleges at the bachelor, master or doctoral degree level (see sponsors below);
- hold current education licensure by August 15, 2013;
- be eligible to accept new employment for fall 2013;
- have a resume approved by their Career Services office; and
- register using the online registration form below.
Upon registration, candidates will be verified by their university/college to ensure eligibility. Anyone not meeting the criteria will be eliminated as a candidate.
