Clingerman presents at symposium
Forrest Clingerman, associate professor of philosophy and religion, presented a paper, "Is there a Natural Public Sphere?" at a NIES Research Symposium on the topic of "Environmentalism, Spatiality, and the Public Sphere. The symposium was held Sept. 27-29 at the University of Oslo.
He was also invited to present a research seminar on part of his sabbatical research, titled "Sensing Place Where Nature Sculpts the Self," at Radboud University of Nijmegen in The Netherlands. he research seminar was sponsored by the Visions of Nature Workgroup, an interdisciplinary group of scholars and researchers at the university, and was held on Oct. 2.
