Students present at the 2012 Michigan Undergraduate Mathematics Conference
On March 3, 2012, ONU students gave three presentations at the 2012
Michigan Undergraduate Mathematics Conference, held at Siena Heights
Tommy Steinberger, a junior in mathematics from Waynesfield, Ohio, advised by Dr. Mohammad Zaki, delivered the talk "On Bernoulli's Inequality."
Ashley Ernst, a freshman in mathematics from McHenry, Ill., Morgan Hammer, a junior in chemistry from Findlay, Ohio, Mitchell Thayer, a senior in chemistry from Painesville, Ohio, and Matt Tremains, a junior in computer science from Rushsylvania, Ohio, advised by Dr. Mihai Caragiu, delivered the talk "A Nice Relation in Triangle Geometry."
Emily Barbee, a sophomore in mathematics from Kingwood, Texas, David Kauffman, a junior in civil engineering from Wadsworth, Ohio, Katie Klopp, a sophomore in mathematical statistics from Pickerington, Ohio, and Liz Spingola, a junior in engineering education from Butler, Pa., advised by Dr. Mihai Caragiu, presented the poster "On The Product of Binomial Coefficients".
