Research paper presented

Dr. James Schul, assistant professor of education, recently presented a research paper at the annual meeting of the College and University Faculty Assembly within the National Council for the Social Studies Convention held in Washington, D.C. The paper was titled “Toward a Community of Learners: An Experienced Teacher’s Integration of Desktop Documentary Making in a General Secondary History Classroom.

Schul also had an article recently accepted for publication in The Journal of Social Studies Research.  The title of the article is “Compositional Encounters: Evolvement of Secondary Students’ Narratives while Making Historical Documentaries.”
