Northern Express is the e-newsletter for the Ohio Northern University family.

ONU's new Kroger Shop24 kiosk is a self-contained, refrigerated, robotic vending machine designed to enable 24-hour consumer purchasing. Originally operated in Europe and the east coast of the United States, the kiosk concept brings an innovative idea to convenience by dispensing a variety of practical, everyday items.

World Music Duo to perform

Don't miss DePue De Hoyos perform a mixture of original and well-known acoustic, rock and Latin songs at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 7:30 p.m. The music of this duo will soothe the soul and incite a love of the instrumental strings.

It's time for some magic!

With never-before-seen illusions of danger and wonder, the Spencers bring the Theatre of Illusion to the Freed Center stage on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 2 and 7 p.m. The husband and wife team have been called "modern day Houdinis" who incorporate both awe-inspiring illusions and a great deal of charisma!

Music classes for families
Vicki Mills, BA '88, a licensed Musikgarten teacher, will offer weekly music classes for families and their children beginning Jan. 28, 2012, and continuing through the end of May. Classes will be held on Thursdays and Saturdays in room 313 of Presser Hall.

Spotts Lecture: 'Engineering Medical Miracles at Mayo Clinic'
Kevin E. Bennet, chairman of the Division of Engineering, assistant professor of neurologic surgery, and co-director of the Neural Engineering Laboratory at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., will be the featured speaker for the Spotts Lecture in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Monday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m.
