Melanie Caw Woods to backup Kenny Rogers

Melanie Caw Woods, director of the communications skills center, is a member of The Voices of Ohio, a 50-member singing group that will be singing back up for Kenny Rogers on Nov. 25 in Columbus and Dec. 14 in Bowling Green.

Caw Woods, who sings second soprano with the group, has been a member for the last five years. In that time the group, based in Grove City, Ohio, has sung at churches, fairs, festivals and concert series. The have appeared at the governor's residence and the Ohio State Fair; with Stepp Stewart at his Dynamite National Showcase; and as back-up for the Christmas portion of Kenny Rogers Christmas and Hits tour. 

For Caw Woods, standing behind the award-winning singer in the photo below, this year will be her fifth and sixth performances with Voices for Kenny Rogers.
