ONU honored by GLACUHO

Ohio Northern University received two awards at the Great Lakes Association of College and University Officers (GLACUHO) annual conference, held Nov. 13-15 in Grand Rapids, Mich.

LeeAnne Sipe, assistance director of residence life, received the Outstanding New Professional Award for the state of Ohio. This award recognizes the outstanding work of residence life professionals with four years or less experience.

Ohio Northern also received the Outstanding Commitment to Campus Safety and Crisis Management Award. The award recognizes advances in campus safety. ONU was nominated by Lee Ann Hall, director of businesses services and risk management. Justin Courtney, director of residence life, has just completed a tw-year term as chair of the GLACUHO campus safety and crisis management  committee. In the 40-year history of the organization, these are the first awards presented to Ohio Northern.
