Abdel-Mohti speaks at Florida events

Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mohti, assistant professor of civil engineering, was guest speaker, Nov. 8, 2011, as part of pre-stressed concrete institute (PCI) lecture series at University of North Florida located in Jacksonville, Fla. He also spoke in front of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) about the issue of transverse deck cracking of steel girders bridge decks. The meeting with FDOT will set the stage for more research in the area of transverse deck cracking.
