College of Business presents Outstanding Service Award
Ohio Northern University’s James F. Dicke College of Business Administration honored Joanne (Griffith) Lipski with an Outstanding Service Award on Saturday, Oct. 1.
The award, given annually at Homecoming, honors individuals who have provided sustained and outstanding service to, and whose contributions have positively impacted, the College of Business Administration and Ohio Northern. This is the third year that Distinguished Alumni Awards have been presented by the college.
“Joanne Lipski is a great example of an alumna who has given, and continues to give, sustained service to the college and University,” said Dr. Jim Fenton, dean of the College of Business Administration. "She has always been a strong supporter of ONU and is dedicated to the University and the college of business and has always strived to help our students and graduates.”
Lipski, a 1972 graduate of Ohio Northern University, is a certified public accountant who resides in Perrysburg, Ohio. She is currently a trustee of Ohio Northern University and has served in that role for 36 years. Currently, Lipski chairs the committee on admissions, enrollment and financial aid. In past years, she has served as chair or vice-chair of the academic affairs committee, the audit committee, and honorary degree committee of the board of trustees.
