Sep 7, 2011

Ohio Northern University welcomes high school seniors to campus for a series of four open houses beginning September 24.

Prospective students will learn about specific Ohio Northern programs, meet with current students, faculty and staff, and attend informational admissions and financial aid sessions. A complimentary lunch and campus tour also will be provided.
The fall visit day opportunities kick off on Sept. 24 with the T.J. Smull College of Engineering Preview Day. This day is intended to introduce prospective students and their families to both the engineering profession and the specific types of engineering available for study at ONU. The day will include a walking tour of campus, sessions with the dean and engineering faculty members, lunch in the University dining hall, a current student panel, and an admissions and financial aid overview. Registration closes Wednesday, Sept. 21, at noon.
The first Experience ONU Day is Wednesday, Oct. 12. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The event allows students and their families to learn more about the unique blend of liberal arts and professional programs ONU offers. Participants can immerse themselves in the total collegiate experience by visiting actual classes, talking with current students, meeting with deans and faculty members, having lunch in the dining hall, and getting a glimpse into the daily lives of ONU students.
Experience ONU Day is open to all students interested in any of the ONU programs, and the respective colleges will conduct academic sessions with the deans of the Colleges of Engineering, Business Administration, Pharmacy, and Arts & Sciences.
The second Experience ONU Day will take place on Friday, Oct. 14. For either event, please register by Oct. 7, 2011.
In addition to the Experience ONU Days, Ohio Northern University will host Discover ONU Day on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This day will allow students to explore the University’s diverse academic offerings and campus life and meet with faculty and a student panel.
