ONU receives e-Tech Teacher Planning Grant
Drs. Debra Gallagher, Assistant Professor of Education, and Ken Reid, Director of First-Year Engineering and Engineering Education and Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, are the co-directors of a $100,000 eTech Teacher Planning Grant. The project titled “STeM 2 STEM,” focuses on utilizing educational technology to capitalize the "e" for engineering in STeM. They will work with ONU teacher candidates and middle and high school teachers primarily from Science, Technology and Mathematics in schools in the following districts: Lima City, Bath, Ottawa Glandorf, Kalida and Pandora-Gilboa. Dr. Maria Raiti, a former math professor at ONU, worked on the proposal and will serve as a Project Manager on the project.
