Faculty member receives Templeton Award Dr. Darrin W. Snyder Belousek, lecturer in philosophy at ONU, is the winner of this year’s Templeton Enterprise Article Award, presented by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI), a national educational organization headquartered in Wilmington, Del.
New album gets great reviews Dave Kosmyna, assistant professor of music, is a member of New Orleans Party Asylum. The band’s new recording, “House of the Rising Sun,” is getting great reviews. In the Toledo Blade, reviewer Tom Henry says, “This is an album that makes you proud of being from northwest Ohio.” ArtSpace/Lima honors Greavu "Judith Greavu: A Retrospective" at ArtSpace/Lima features a comprehensive showing of the retired ONU faculty member’s work. The exhibit runs June 12 through July 23.

Students participate in Hanyang University Summer Program Eleven undergraduate students from Ohio Northern University have been selected to participate in the Hanyang University Summer Program for 2011.These students, who leave June 23, will spend four weeks in summer studies at Hanyang University in South Korea. Textbook rentals come to campus bookstore This fall, ONU will become part of a select group of colleges/universities offering students a textbook rental program. This opportunity is made possible thanks to a partnership forged between Ohio Northern University administration and the campus bookstore, managed by Barnes & Noble. With textbook rentals, students can realize tremendous savings, paying less than half of what they would to purchase a new, printed textbook.
