U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan to speak at Legislative Reception

The student chapter of the National Community Pharmacist Association at Ohio Northern University will hold its first Legislative Reception on Wednesday, April 20, at 4:30 p.m. at the Inn.

The reception will feature U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan as its keynote speaker. Jordan represents Ohio’s 4th District, in which Ohio Northern is located, and he will speak on current legislative, political and advocacy issues that affect the pharmacy profession.

The NCPA was founded in 1898 and represents America’s community pharmacists, who, along with pharmacy franchises and regional chains, dispense nearly half of the nation’s retail prescription medicines. Members include the owners of more than 23,000 pharmacies.

Faculty, staff and students from the Raabe College of Pharmacy, as well as members of the NCPA, are invited to the event. Seating is limited; please RSVP to a-leavitt@onu.edu by April 15.
