Astronomy Club to host public viewing event

The Ohio Northern University Astronomy Club invites ONU students, faculty and staff as well as Ada and the surrounding communities to an astronomy event in the ONU Observatory on Friday, March 25, from 9-11 p.m.
 
This event is free and open to the public.
 
The ONU Observatory will be open for public viewings approximately two evenings of each month. These will be held on Fridays, except in the case of a special event such as a lunar eclipse. The observatory has a cool control room and public restrooms, which are kept warm. However, because the telescopes are in an unheated outdoor area, visitors are advised to dress appropriately.
 
In the event of cloudy or unfavorable atmospheric conditions, the event will be canceled. Please consult the observatory website for news on future viewing dates and possible cancellations and to view maps of the observatory.
