Ohio Northern University to host ‘One Fine Arts Weekend’

Ohio Northern University’s Office of Alumni Relations invites the public to the second annual “One Fine Arts Weekend” on Friday, Feb. 18, and Saturday, Feb. 19. Registration begins at 4 p.m. on Friday at The Inn at Ohio Northern University.
 
The weekend will celebrate student art, music, dance and live theatre. The events will begin with a live classical piano presentation during Fireside Friday at The Inn at 5 p.m. followed by a hands-on ceramics workshop in the Wilson Arts Building from 6 p.m.
 
On Saturday, participants will have the opportunity to learn printmaking techniques at 1:15 p.m., hear a baroque ensemble performance by ONU faculty in Presser Hall at 2 p.m., take a ballroom dance class at 4 p.m., and enjoy the comedic performance of “’Til Death Do Us Part: Late Nite Catechism 3” in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts at 8 p.m.
 
Packages start at $85 per person and include all weekend activities and all meals for Saturday. Overnight accommodations will be at The Inn at Ohio Northern University. The Inn is minutes away from walking and biking paths, the Freed Center for the Performing Arts, Presser Recital Hall, Elzay Gallery of Art and ONU’s Dial-Roberson Stadium.
