Logsdon establishes endowed scholarship
Paul Logsdon, director of Ohio Northern University’s Heterick Memorial Library, has established the Robert and Vivian Logsdon Endowed Scholarship Fund for outstanding ONU nursing students in honor of his parent

Sociology professor tabbed as editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Sociological Research
Dr. Keith F. Durkin, Ohio Northern University professor of sociology and chair of the ONU psychology and sociology department, has assumed the duties as editor-in chief of the International Journal of Sociological Research.

PRSSA Chapter Wins Solo Cup 'Go Bare on Campus' Challenge
Ohio Northern University's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) received a $1,000 grant after finishing first in the Solo Cup Company's "Go Bare on Campus" challenge.

Alpha Xi Delta "Singles Out" Autism
To raise money for the national charity Autism Speaks, Alpha Xi Delta is presenting "Singled Out", a mock game show in which men and women answer questions and compete for a dream date just in time for Valentine's Day.

Polar Sustainable Entrepreneur Pitch and Poster Competition
Time to enter the Polar Sustainable Entrepreneur Pitch and Poster Competition for cash awards. Competition will be 6 to 9 p.m., Feb. 8, in the atrium of The James F. Dicke College of Business Administration. Registration deadline is Feb. 1. See details.

CareerFest, Feb. 4
Sign up for CareerFest 2011, Feb.4 at the Aladdin Shrine Complex in Columbus, Ohio. This career fair is one of the largest in Ohio and features students from 34 member institutions of the Ohio Federation of Independent Colleges. Employers will be recruiting all majors for a variety of internships and full-time employment positions. Students are encouraged to attend and should register by contacting ONU’s Office of Career Services. Free transportation will be provided by Career Services. Alumni are welcome.
