Free Stability Ball Workshops Offered
Want to get the most out of your stability exercise? Senior Exercise Physiology practicum students are offering two free stability ball exercise workshops for ONU faculty and staff to offer the best ideas for using this workout tool. The classes are a part of a practicum course requirement (HPES 383) and offer a way for students to help the ONU community.
Workshop 1: Tuesday, Jan. 25 from 6-7 p.m. in the King Horn dance room (Beginning 1 Yoga will be offered in Affinity this night versus King Horn).
Workshop 2: Wednesday, Feb. 2 from 4-5 p.m. in the King Horn dance room
Bring: Your own stability/exercise ball. If you don’t have one, a limited number are available from the Exercise Physiology program. If you have an exercise mat, please bring it, but it is not required. Proper exercise attire is tennis shoes, and loose-fitting clothing.
Fitness levels: These workshops are for beginner and intermediate fitness levels.
All participants will receive a take home program detailing the exercises covered in the class with illustrations and descriptions.
