Students, Professor Present Research Findings at Neuroscience Conference
Two students from ONU’s Department of Psychology and Sociology presented their research findings from work completed in the laboratory of Dr. Phillip Zoladz, Assistant Professor of Psychology, at the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience in San Diego, California, which was held from Nov. 13-17.
Brianne Clark, a 2010 ONU graduate in psychology and sociology, and Ashlee Warnecke, a senior psychology major at ONU, attended the conference with Dr. Zoladz to present the poster entitled, “Stress Exerts Differential Effects on the Recall and Recognition of Emotional Words, Depending on Proximity to the Learning Experience.”
Other ONU-affiliated individuals who were included on the poster as a result of their contribution to the research included Lindsay Smith, a 2010 ONU graduate in psychology and sociology, Jennifer Tabar, a senior biology major at ONU, and Dr. Jeffery Talbot, Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at ONU.
