ONU Freed Center to Present Games of Steel
Attack Theatre "Games of Steel" dance concert will be performed at the Ohio Northern University Freed Center for the Performing Arts at 8p.m. on Wednesday, March 21.
"Games of Steel" originally premiered in Pittsburgh in 2005 as a dance and rock opera, going on to receive the prestigious National Dance Project touring award. Now on a seven-city U.S. tour, the nationally acclaimed "Games of Steel" is a dance-infused show influenced by popular reality television, most notably from the "Survivor-genre."
Accompanied by a band of musicians who will play selections from a diverse musical landscape, "Games of Steel" is portrays themes of passion and intrigue as three dancing "contestants" battle for superiority in love, status and survival.
Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 for students and seniors and $9 for children 12 and under. The Freed Center box office is open Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Phone orders are accepted with MasterCard, VISA or Discover by calling (419) 772-1900.
