Loughlin Presents Paper
Dr. Michael Loughlin, professor of history, presented a paper titled “Antimilitarism in France from the Dreyfus Affair until World War I: Gustave Hervé and the Affiche Rouge“ at the 38th annual conference of the Western Society for French History meeting at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette on Oct. 21 – 24, in Lafayette, La.
The conference included more than 100 scholars with expertise in French history. Michael Loughlin has been studying French fascism and the career of Gustave Hervé for many years and is preparing his manuscript for publication.
