White to Speak at Conference
Robin M. White, MSN, RN, assistant professor of nursing, will be a speaker at the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) Annual Mid-year Career Planning Conference, Nov. 4-7, 2010 in Cincinnati.
She will be speaking in the seminar “Global Nursing: Engaging Nursing Students in Real-Life Experiences.” She will offer guidance for faculty members working in collaboration with students to develop mission experiences in the U.S. and abroad and speak on learning how to find realistic and sustainable solutions to problems of poor health and substandard living conditions.
She will also address how to find resources to develop and implement this important initiative. White has made two trips to the Dominican Republic with Northern Without Borders.
