United Way Campaign Begins
The United Way of Hardin County is beginning its annual campaign. This year’s goal is a repeat of last year’s $200,000 to support 22 community agencies:
- American Red Cross
- Mobility Foundation
- Big Brothers and Big Sisters
- Boy Scouts Black Swamp Council
- Cancer Screening Services
- Children’s Development Center
- Compassionate Friends
- Council on Aging
- Crossroads Crisis Center
- Family Resource Center
- Girl Scouts Appleseed Ridge Council
- Habitat for Humanity
- Hardin County Dental Council
- Hardin County Family YMCA
- Hardin County Hospice
- Heartbeat of Hardin County
- Helping Hands
- Imagination Library
- Love INC
- Neighborhood Center
- Salvation Army
- ReStore Community Center
Campaign information and pledge cards will be mailed on Monday, Oct. 11.
ONU’s goal for 2010 is $13,333.33 ,which is 6.66 percent of the county goal. Last year ONU contributed $12,717, or 6.35 percent of the county goal.
