Karen Bailey is a senior counselor at Fahlgren Mortine Public Relations in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, Bailey provides national business and consumer media relations expertise to her clients. Bailey also leads Fahlgren Mortine’s Media Relations Practice. Throughout her career, Bailey has worked with some of the nation’s most well-known brands, including Elmer’s Products, McDonald’s, Cingular Wireless (now AT&T), Philips Electronics, Best Buy and The Home Depot. In 2005, she executed the nationwide launch of the Cingular Wireless Go Phone and attended the Sundance Film Festival with Philips Electronics in 2006.
Bailey is active in the Central Ohio Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and was elected to the chapter’s board of directors in 2008. She is a 2004 recipient of Central Ohio PRSA’s Rising Star Award and has earned awards for media relations, event planning and blogger relations. She is a 2002 graduate of Ohio Northern University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications Arts with a concentration in public relations and minor in business administration.
