Years in college admissions:
Why should a student choose ONU?
There are lots of reasons to choose ONU! Among them, U.S. News & World Report listed Ohio Northern as the second-best comprehensive college in the Midwest, we have an overall 94% job placement rate, the abundant undergraduate research opportunities, and of course our beautiful campus!
What is your favorite thing about college admissions?
I am continually amazed at the passions and successes of students, especially ONU students, before and after graduation. For example, one ONU student is getting his PhD. at Vanderbilt, while another is working on creating roller coasters at Disney World. Bob Peterson, BSME '83 is an Academy Award-winning director and animator for Pixar Animation Studios. His work has appeared in Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., UP, and Toy Story.
What is your favorite thing about Ada?
I have lived in my house on Main St. for 10 years and I love the friendly people of this lovely town. Everything I need is within walking distance, as Ada has a variety of restaurants, a supermarket, a discount drug store, a Ford dealership, a movie theater, a swimming pool and a park, not to mention the high-quality productions at the ONU Freed Center for the Performing Arts.
