ONU to Host Sakae Institute
Ohio Northern University will host the Sakae Institute of Study Abroad, a preparation program for Japanese students who will begin studies at U.S. colleges and universities in the fall, from July 8 through Aug. 11.

ONU Celebrates Wind Turbines
Ohio Northern University held a wind turbine celebration on Friday, May 21. The project, which began with student advocacy, is one of the largest on-site wind electricity projects in the country and the largest on-site school project in the state of Ohio.

Dr. Robert Alexander, associate professor of political science, and Rhonda Thompson, assistant professor of nursing, have each received grants

All Sports Camp
The ONU All Sports Camp for boys and girls ages 8-12 runs June 21 - 23 at the ONU Sports Center. Campers will participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities with a focus on teamwork and good sportsmanship. The camp runs from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. each day, with pre- and post-camp care also available. The cost is $25 per day or $70 for the entire camp. Pre- and post-camp care is available at an addition cost. For details, contact camp director Devin Russell at 419-772-2588 or e-mail d-russell.2@onu.edu

Seniors Cortney Cash, Katie Salay, Mandi Fought and sophomore Jackie Mangola were named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in softball for 2010 in voting conducted by the league’s 10 faculty advisors.
