A&D Students Exhibit at S.P.A.C.E.
The work of Ohio Northern University art & design students Jeff Gibbons, Fred Frances and Mike Madsen will be on display this weekend in Columbus during the Small Press & Alternative Comics Exposition (S.P.A.C.E.).
“It’s a great show,” said Fred. “We’ll be setting-up and selling our work as well as promoting our comics. It’s a great place to see some very cool art!”

Hundreds of people will visit the expo this weekend. Part of the fun of S.P.A.C.E. is seeing exhibitors’ work blossom over the years. Some continue with illustration. Some move on to gallery work, while others work for media and other fields.
Sponsored by Back Porch Comics and now in its 11th year, the Small Press & Alternative Comics Expo (S.P.A.C.E.) is the largest mid-western expo of art comics, minis, small press, self-produced and published comics. The event is organized by Bob Corby of Back Porch Comics with an all volunteer staff. Similar to other genre expositions, this show is a great place to discover new and upcoming talent in the art comic scene.
