Education Professor Awarded Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program Grant
Dr. Sandra Crosser, professor of education in Ohio Northern University’s Center for Teacher Education (CTE), has been awarded a Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program grant to fund a short-term curriculum development project titled “South Africa: Perspectives on Democracy.” Provided by the U.S. Department of Education, the grant totals $88,440.

National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week
In celebration of National Medical Laboratory Week, the West Central Ohio Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) program at ONU is hosting house events during National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week, April 18-24.

Unite For Awareness Week,
Unite for Awareness Week, April 26-30, is a week-long student initiative to educate the ONU community about forms of prejudice and discrimination.

42nd Street42nd Street'
“42nd Street” is one of the largest and most elaborate musicals ever performed at the Freed Center. Performances are April 28 to May 1 at 8 p.m. with a matinee performance on May 2 at 2 p.m.

One Fine Arts Weekend

Wind Turbine Construction
Watch the Web Cam.
Progress on the construction of ONU's three new wind turbines is continuing. According to NexGen Energy, the1.2 megawatt project will be one of the largest on-site wind electricity projects in the country and the largest in the state of Ohio. "The distinction here is the reference to 'on-site,' which excludes utility-scale turbines. We have the largest on-site turbine project in the state!" said Dr. Robert Ruble, vice president for financial affairs. 

Donate Used Eyeglasses
The ONU Lions Club will be collecting eyeglasses through the end of the academic year.

Engineering Students Receive Asphalt Scholarships
Six civil engineering students, all juniors in the Mohammad Khasawneh’s Transportation II class, have been named recipients of Hot Mix Asphalt Scholarships.

Relay For Life
For the sixth year on the Ohio Northern University campus, walkers will go around the clock to benefit the battle against cancer during the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.
