Clingerman Publishes Essay
Dr. Forrest Clingerman, assistant professor of religion, is author of an essay, “Wilderness as the Place between Philosophy and Theology: Questioning Martin Drenthen on the Otherness of Nature” which appears in the interdisciplinary environmental philosophy journal Environmental Values 19 (2010): 211-232.
In May, he will deliver one of the keynote speeches at a workshop “Aesth/Ethics in Environmental Change” in Hiddensee, Germany. The workshop, May 24-28, is sponsored by the European Forum for the Study of Religion and the Environment, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, and the University of Griefswald.
After the workshop he will attend an environmental aesthetics conference in Lahte, Finland.
