ONU Presents Lecture by EPA official
Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law presents a lecture by Peter J. Raack, an attorney and advisor in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, in the Moot Court Room on Thursday, April 15, at 11:30 a.m.
The Environmental Law Society at ONU Law sponsors Raack’s lecture, “Recent Developments at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.” The event is free and open to the public.
Raack primarily works with the Enforcement Division of the Office of Civil Enforcement on matters relating to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act
(RCRA). In this capacity, he handles pending administrative and judicial cases and matters involving state-federal relations, state-authorized hazardous waste management programs and the RCRA Civil Penalty Policy.
Raack has worked in the EPA’s Washington, D.C., office since July 1999. Prior to that, he was with the Regional Counsel’s office in the EPA
Region 4 office in Atlanta, Ga., where he worked on a wide variety of matters involving Superfund, RCRA, Federal Facilities, the Clean Water Act and EPA’s Self-Disclosure Policy.
