Ohio Northern University senior Joshua Szekely, a chemistry major from Madison, Ohio, has been selected as a 2010 Goldwater Scholar by the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship Excellence in Education Program. For six consecutive years, Ohio Northern students have been the recipients of this premier award honoring those in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.

ONU mechanical engineering students joined graduate students and aerospace research and design engineers in making presentations at the 35th AIAA Dayton-Cincinnati Aerospace Sciences Symposium

English Majors’ Vampire Bibliography to be Published
An annotated bibliography on vampires, the result of a year-long research project by three ONU English majors, will be published this summer by The New York Review of Science Fiction. The authors are Samantha LaChey, a senior in creative writing/literature from Troy, Ohio, Merrill Miller, a senior creative writing major from McMurray, Pa., and Cailey Williams, a senior in literature/French major from Eastlake, Ohio.

Relay For Life
For the sixth year on the Ohio Northern University campus, walkers will go around the clock to benefit the battle against cancer during the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.
