Simulation of Acoustic Waves in 2d Complex Plasmas

We have developed a model for dust acoustic waves in two dimensions. Dust particles are assumed to reside on a periodic hexagonal lattice and interact through a shielded Coloumb force. The model is solved computationally for plane waves. Dispersion relations as a function of the Debye shielding parameter will be compared to theory.
