The purpose of this project is to modify, fabricate and assemble a Micro-Baja vehicle for the 20th annual SAE Micro-Baja Stock Class competition. The truck will be modified to compete against other universities in the stock class. The truck must be capable of traveling through a closed course quickly without human interaction. The close course consists of a wide variety of obstacles which include hills, a water pit, jumps, sand pits, rocks, and tight turns. The truck will be judged based on two criteria. The criteria consist of design presentation, and performance competition. Students will be judged on the design and modifications made on the truck, as well as their ability to explain these changes to a panel of judges. The truck will be judged on its ability to complete the closed course quickly with a few penalties as possible.
